The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) is launching a new accreditation process for post-baccalaureate nurse residency programs in 2008. Over three years ago, the CCNE Board of Commissioners appointed a task force to develop accreditation standards to be used in the accreditation of post-baccalaureate nurse residency programs in acute care settings. The standards are now complete, and formal policies and procedures are under development. Please look through the pages below for additional information.
