It is the responsibility of the program to notify CNC of the test date, site, time and proctor contact information. A Site Registration Form is required for each testing period as applicable.
The program must select a date within a testing period. If at all possible, test administration should occur between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. CT Monday through Friday to insure that technical assistance is available at AMP.
CNC will send a Proctor Manual to the designated contact at each school with eligible candidates. Faculty or staff may serve as exam proctors. Effective July 1, 2009, proctors will not receive an honorarium.
Every program must submit to CNC the Institution/School of Nursing CNL Education Program Verification Form. This form must be signed by the dean/chief academic officer and received by CNC prior to the school serving as an exam site. In addition, the CNL Program must submit the CNL Program Agreement to AACN.

Program Checklist
***NOTE: Beginning with the Fall 2009 testing period for the CNL Certification Exam, instructors/faculty contacts of CNL education programs will no longer receive individual detailed score reports of CNL certification examinees. To maintain confidentiality of the CNL certification exam, instructors/faculty contacts will receive a summary report of the group average scores by content area and the national average scores by content area following each testing period as applicable. The new group summary reports will be forwarded to the instructor/faculty contact within ten business days of the test date. The program must have a minimum of two examinees during a testing period to receive the group summary report for that testing period and exam section. Aggregate pass/fail results are e-mailed annually in October to the Deans as applicable.
