2009 CNL® Summit

General Information
(For all individuals NOT employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs)


Registration
Register online at: www.aacn.nche.edu/Registration/registration.asp. During the registration process, persons planning to attend the pre-conference workshop will be able to order Quality by Design (Nelson, Batalden & Godfrey, 2007) for $49.00 (list price is $85.00). Quality by Design is a required tool for the pre-conference; however, participants may purchase it on their own.

The deadline for early registration is December 10, 2008. Late fees will apply to registrations received after December 10.

Hotel Information
A block of rooms has been reserved at the InterContinental New Orleans, 444 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA, 70130. For reservations, please contact the hotel by phone at 1-504-525-5566 or 1-800-972-2791. The room rate is $189 single/double. In order to receive the group rate, you will need to state that you are an AACN-CNL Conference attendee. The cutoff date for reservations at the group rate is January 7, 2009; however, you are encouraged to book your room prior to that date as the room block is limited. 

Transportation
The InterContinental New Orleans is located approximately 15 miles from the Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY). A taxi ride is approximately $29.00 (one way). Shuttle service is available for $15.00 (per person, one way); please contact Airport Shuttle at 1-504-522-3500 for more information.

Continuing Education
Continuing Education contact hours will be provided by the VA Employee Education System.  Certificates will be provided at the conclusion of the conference.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
Registrations that are canceled up to one week before the meeting will be refunded minus a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations received with less than one week’s notice will be refunded minus a $150 administrative fee. There will be no refunds for no-shows.

AACN reserves the right to cancel this conference and any group activity that does not meet minimal group requirements.  Non-refundable airline tickets are the responsibility of the registrant.
