May 2008     Mount Mercy College     Lecturer/Assistant Professor of Nursing Mount Mercy College is a private, coeducational, Catholic institution with strong professional and liberal arts programs, located on a 40-acre hilltop in an attractive residential neighborhood. The Nursing department seeks a nursing education professional to begin with the Fall 2008 term. This position is a nine-month, full-time appointment with responsibilities including theoretical and clinical teaching in addition to non-teaching duties. A doctoral preparation in nursing is highly preferred, with a master of nursing degree required. Teaching experience at graduate and baccalaureate level with expertise in medical-surgical or pediatric nursing is preferred. The rank and salary of this position will be commensurate with academic preparation and professional experience of the successful candidate.
