With 4 graduate programs, 2 of which are nationally ranked in the top 10, the Department of Adult Health and Gerontological Nursing is positioned as a model of innovation and collaboration. Faculty provide national leadership in their specialties and are committed to creating education, research and practice models that improve care of adults as they age. Rush is a nationally recognized leader in nursing education, research, and practice and offers educational programs from prelicensure through the DNP and PhD. The Department is committed to excellence in interdisciplinary adult and geriatric nursing education, research, and practice and the preparation of adult and geriatric nursing faculty, researchers, and practitioners who are prepared to meet the health care needs of racially and ethnically diverse populations.
