and nominations for an Assistant Professor to Full Professor,
Informatics, Educational Innovation and Research position. The
School seeks qualified applicants interested in becoming part
of a large urban university, including a satellite campus at Cañada
College in Redwood City, California. This is a full-time, 9-month
appointment. Rank, tenure and salary are to be negotiated, commensurate

Position Description
Provides leadership for the development, implementation and evaluation
of nursing informatics across the curriculum to support the School's
teaching, scholarship and service missions. Serves as a resource
for the faculty, students and the community for information management,
instructional technology, and high technology simulation applications
to teaching/learning. Engages in research and scholarship to contribute
to the evidence base for teaching/learning. Works with School,
College, and community to share nursing/health informatics teaching/learning
strategies with a broad audience. Collaborates with others to
foster nursing/health informatics and technology competencies
in teaching and to prepare students for practice. Teaches at undergraduate
and graduate levels in discipline specialty as well as informatics
components of the curriculum.

Position Description
This faculty member teaches FNP courses as well as other related
courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs. As a faculty
member, s/he supervises students in family practice and primary
care settings, and participates in curriculum planning and evaluation.
S/he also participates in coordination, planning, and evaluation
of clinical faculty and affiliating agencies.
