Director of Constituent Services

Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing is seeking a Director of Constituent Services. Our mission is to support learning and professional development of nursing professionals through knowledge dissemination.  Our 127,000-nurse members reside in over 100 countries across the globe and are recognized as leaders and scholars.  We are located on the Indiana University/Purdue University Indianapolis campus in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Director of Constituent Services oversees areas of service including the development and support of honor societies and chapters within the United States, active and inactive member renewal, member, chapter, and regional support, volunteer management, House of Delegates and Call Center customer support.

Major Responsibilities include:

  • Development, implementation, and evaluation:
    a) goals, objectives and strategic/business plan of work
    b) programs and services for members and chapters
    c) programmatic and administrative policies, procedures and processes;
    d) outcomes for programs and activities
  • Overseeing and directing membership initiatives of induction, renewal, service, support and volunteer management initiatives
  • Overseeing chapter initiatives of compliance, development, community service, education and training, and direct services and support.
  • Collaboratively planning and overseeing House of Delegates
  • Analyzing and articulating into action membership and chapter trends and data in collaboration with other centers and subsidiaries
  • Preparing and overseeing Constituent Center annual and biennial budget
  • Making recommendations for improvement of services related to fulfillment of member and chapter needs
  • Interacting with executive management, staff and members to plan, develop and implement materials related to fulfillment of member and chapter services and benefits

Education:

  • RN, with an earned graduate degree in realted field of competency

Experience:

  • Ten years progressive experience in administration required
  • Experience in non-profit professional or service organization required
  • Expereience with international organization desired
