I. DIRECTOR OF THE GRADUATE NURSING PROGRAM

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS) at Florida International University (FIU), in Miami is seeking an innovative candidate for the position of Director of the Graduate Nursing Program. The position is a full-time, 12 month appointment with primary responsibility in administration of the Graduate Nursing Program. Candidates must have or be eligible for licensure in the state of Florida, an earned doctorate in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution, a record of successful teaching and outstanding scholarship.  If the doctorate is in a related field, candidate must have a Master of Science in Nursing. The preferred candidate will have academic administrative experience in advanced practice nursing and involvement in a nurse practitioner faculty practice. II. ASSISTANT OR ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS OF NURSING

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences invites applications for three tenure-earning positions as Assistant or Associate Professor in Nursing. Candidates with a doctorate in nursing or a related field and a Master of Science in nursing from an accredited institution with teaching experience and a record of academic research are preferred. The preferences for areas of nursing specialization are Maternity, Pediatric, Community Health, Nursing Education, and Adult or Family Health Nursing. Faculty members may teach in the undergraduate and/or graduate programs. All candidates must be eligible for nursing licensure in the State of Florida.  Salary and rank are competitive and commensurate with experience.
