Academic Development, Enhancement & Evaluation
The Oregon Health & Science University School of Nursing is seeking a doctorally-prepared nurse candidate for Associate Dean for Academic Development, Enhancement, and Evaluation.
The Associate Dean:
-
Collaborates with the leadership team and advises the Dean on academic programs, aligning programs with stakeholders.

Advances the scholarship of teaching and learning, ensuring that programs meet accreditation standards, and measuring the impact of the academic mission.

Interfaces with faculty engaged in the academic mission at each of the five campuses, serving as liaison to faculty councils and committees.

Represents the academic interests of the school at national, regional, and local venues, including the State Board of Nursing, and inter-professional university meetings.

Determines human resource requirements, justifies curricular issues such that the school maintains a competitive position and remains accessible to students.

Must be eligible for nursing licensure in Oregon.
