12-Month Nurse Faculty Position
The College of Nursing at Valdosta State University continues to accept applications for a 12-month, non-tenure track position. This position consists of didactic and clinical teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, faculty service and professional practice. Faculty rank for this position is Instructor. This position will remain open until filled. Required qualifications include a master’s degree in nursing and demonstrated clinical nursing expertise in adult health nursing. Applicants with credentials as a nurse practitioner and experience teaching Nurse Practitioner curricula, and experience in advanced practice in South Georgia will be given preference. Appointment date will be January 1, 2010.
Established in 1968, the Valdosta State University College of Nursing is a regional leader in nursing education, emphasizing student-centered teaching/learning environments. Academic programs include the basic BSN program, mobility programs for RN’s leading to the BSN and the MSN, and the basic MSN programs.
