Evaluation of effectiveness:
To date, mixed messages on effectiveness. Most agree that counselors possess bad information about nursing and other health care options. Little career counseling is going on.

Lessons learned:
HR professional who is part of the group in Philadelphia and a former guidance counselor recommends that efforts be targeted to science teachers rather than school counselors.
