Program Session: Workload Management and Program Costing
Speaker:  Carla Johnson, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, College of Nursing, University of Colorado Denver
Because faculty workload comprises a large percentage of budgeted resources, it is important to know the costs associated with nursing programs.  Carla will present a model and discuss the observation, outcomes, and how the model has helped to make more informed and deliberate workload assignments.

General Information

Registration
The registration fee for the 2010 BONUS Annual Meeting Conference is $369 for BONUS Network members and $399 for non-network members. Register online at https://www.aacn.nche.edu/Registration.  The deadline for registration is April 1st.  Email messages confirming registration for this meeting will be sent to all participants. 

Hotel Information
A block of rooms has been reserved at The Westin Michigan Avenue, 909 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, 312-943-7200.  The room rate is $199 single/double. To make reservations, please call the hotel directly and request the group rate for the AACN Business Officers of Nursing Schools Meeting or click here for online reservations. The cutoff date for reservations at the group rate is March 22, 2010.

Poster Presentation
BONUS members are encouraged to submit posters on work-related topics for display throughout the Annual Meeting, present and discuss on Thursday during the poster session. BONUS Group Dinner
The traditional special BONUS group dinner on Thursday night will be held at Food Life. The cost is $30 per person and guests are welcome. 

Guest Fees
Lunch on Thursday is included in the registration fee for all BONUS participants. There is a $40 guest fee per person for any additional guests. 

Refund and Cancellation Policy
Registrations that are cancelled up to one week before the meeting will be refunded minus a $50 administrative fee.  Cancellations received with less than one week’s notice will be refunded minus a $150 administrative fee. There will be no refunds for no-shows. 

AACN reserves the right to cancel this conference and any group activity that does not meet minimal group requirements.  Non-refundable airline tickets are the responsibility of the registrant.
