Preparing Nursing Students to Care for Older Adults:Enhancing Gerontology in Senior-level Undergraduate Courses
This exciting program sponsors six regional faculty-training conferences that will take place between 2007 and 2009 in locations across the country. Employing a "train-the-trainer" model, these Faculty Development Institutes will offer a three-day intensive workshop providing nursing educators with the skills, knowledge and resources needed to ensure that the best geriatric practices are imbedded in senior-level baccalaureate curricula.

Professional background and experience. (You must be teaching in a baccalaureate nursing program). Identification of other applicants from your academic institution. Identification of professional enhancement goals.
