AACN created this new online resource to assist academic nursing institutions in their efforts to secure funding at the state and local levels. Nurse educators are encouraged to use these materials to develop their own state legislation, identify possible faculty shortage strategies, explore potential partnerships and grant-funding opportunities, and make contact with legislators and key decision-makers. This content complements AACN's October 2006 Issue Bulletin on State Legislative Initiatives to Address the Nursing Shortage.
