The UND College of Nursing is also willing to offer assistance to Hurricane afflicted faculty members so their research can be facilitated while they are displaced from their home campuses. UND is regionally accredited. The College of Nursing is accredited by CCNE at all levels.

WASHINGTON

Seattle University College of Nursing
Seattle, WA

Seattle University is joining with theirJesuit sister colleges and universities to support students who were enrolled at Tulane, Loyola University New Orleans, and Xavier University of Louisiana this fall semester.  Students from these institutions may be temporarily admitted to Seattle University as visiting students for fall quarter based upon the University's capacity and ability to meet the student's curricular needs as well as the student's ability to locate appropriate housing.

Students enrolled under this program bear responsibility for tuition and fee charges consistent with tuition, financial aid and payment policies of their home institution.  Seattle University will manage tuition and financial aid for these students consistent with the principles below:

  • Students who have already paid tuition to their home institution will not be charged by Seattle University.
  • Students who have not already paid tuition at the home institution will be charged 66% of the fall semester undergraduate tuition rate at their home institutions (Note they are adjusting their rate to fit the quarter schedule).  Students paying tuition at SU who have not received financial aid from the home institution may apply for Seattle University aid and will be funded at a level consistent with other SU students.
  • When the home institution is ready, Seattle U will work with the institution to identify appropriate tuition and financial aid levels consistent with this policy.
  • Students enrolled under this program bear responsibility for tuition and fee charges consistent with the tuition, aid and payment policies of their home institution.
  • Student registration will be accommodated based on space available.  The University will make every attempt to provide a class schedule that is similar to the schedule at the home institution.

The intent of Seattle University is to be of assistance to displaced students and to minimize negative enrollment and tuition revenue consequences for the affected institutions.  The University will determine how to manage net tuition revenue from these students consistent with this intent.
