At our Cedar Rapids facility, we sponsor a summer intern program for BSN students following their junior year. The hospital supports a nurse intern employment option for BSN students while they are in school which provides a higher rate of pay and advanced responsibilities than other nurse assistive positions. We also provide scholarships to BSN students at Mount Mercy College which are funded through the Mercy Foundation.
