Geraldine "Polly" Bednash Scholarship

The new scholarship program provides $5,000 in support to outstanding nursing students in baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral programs at AACN member institutions.  Eligible applicants must be admitted or enrolled in a
nursing school affiliated with CastleBranch or have submitted an application through nursing’s centralized application service, NursingCAS (see https://portal.nursingcas.org).

CastleBranchGNSA Scholarship
The CastleBranch-GNSA Scholarship recognizes the outstanding work of graduate nursing students who are advancing the nursing profession through a commitment to innovation, leadership and mentoring and will award two $2,500 scholarships each semester to eligible GNSA members.

Hurst Reviews/AACN Nursing Scholarship
Hurst Review Services and AACN are partnering to offer a new scholarship program to recognize and reward outstanding students in prelicensure nursing programs. Two scholarships in the amount of $2,500 will be distributed each Fall and Spring to students enrolled in AACN member institutions.

Minority Nurse Faculty Scholarship
AACN, with support from the Johnson & Johnson Campaign for Nursing’s Future, is currently offering a sixth round of scholarship funding to underrepresented minority (URM) nursing students who plan to work as nursing faculty after graduation. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a doctoral nursing program or a clinically-focused master’s degree program.

AfterCollege/AACN Nursing Scholarship Program
The AfterCollege-AACN Scholarship Fund supports students who are seeking a baccalaureate, master’s or doctoral degree in nursing. Special consideration will be given to students in a graduate program with the goal of becoming a nurse educator; completing an RN to BSN or MSN program; and those enrolled in an accelerated nursing program.
