RN-to-BSN Education Task Force
This task force is charged with developing a clarification of the requirement for clinical and practice experiences for students enrolled in RN to BSN programs. As noted in the 2008 AACN Essentials of Baccalaureate Education, all baccalaureate nursing students, regardless of program type, are required to undergo clinical training experiences as part of their work to acquire the degree. This task force is asked to delineate the specific clinical training experiences that will transition a nursing student's role behaviors from the Associate Degree or diploma to the baccalaureate level of proficiency.
