Assistant professor - adult health
Pacific Lutheran University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Nursing to teach Adult Health beginning September 1, 2012, in a School of Nursing with over 350 full-time undergraduate and graduate nursing students. Responsible for teaching in the BSN and/or MSN Nursing programs; ensuring programs meet university, professional, and accreditation standards; and curriculum development.
Qualifications: Advanced nursing degree and doctorate in nursing or related field (Ph.D., Clinical Doctorate, DNP, DNSc, DNS, DSN, Dr.P.H, or Ed.D) required. ABD will be considered, but doctorate must be in hand by September 1, 2012. Must be eligible for Washington State RN licensure as well as student-centered, professionally oriented, and committed to scholarship. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, relevant professional experience, and competitive for comprehensive I universities.
