Director of Nursing Education

Franklin Pierce invites applications for a Director of Nursing Education. The Director should be an experienced and dynamic nurse educator to lead this vibrant and evolving Department of Nursing Education, and provide leadership of our R.N. to B.S. undergraduate program and M.S. in Nursing graduate program.

The position offers opportunities in program and curriculum development, recruitment and retention, multi-disciplinary collaboration, state-wide networking and program promotion.

Qualified candidates must possess a master’s degree in nursing, an earned doctorate, experience working with adult learners, grant writing knowledge, excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills; prior experience in a higher education setting preferred. As there is extensive travel among the Franklin Pierce centers, an unencumbered and valid driver’s license is required. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and must hold a license to practice as a R.N. in New Hampshire. Demonstrated characteristics for a management/leadership position and significant knowledge in budget management is necessary.
