FT Term Faculty Positions- Pre-licensure Clinical Nursing Instruction
University of San Francisco
Department: School of Nursing
Job Type: Full-Time

The School of Nursing at the University of San Francisco invites nominations and applications for term faculty positions for pre-licensure clinical teaching. The school has a vibrant baccalaureate program that is one of the few programs on the West Coast to admit students as freshmen.  As a result, the undergraduate students in the nursing major are among the very best at the university.

Graduate programs include the MSN with a Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) focus and the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. The master’s program has both an entry-into-practice option as well as one for RNs.  Programming for the MSN is offered at the USF regional campuses and several clinical partners in addition to the San Francisco campus. The MSN graduates are making meaningful contributions to healthcare advances in the Bay Area.

The DNP at USF was the first in California and received CCNE accreditation in fall 2009. The 19 DNP graduates have assumed significant leadership roles across both nursing and healthcare, and the Executive Leadership DNP program promises to extend that scope and range. The program has post-baccalaureate and post-masters’ options and prepares both APRNs and health care systems leaders.
