Assistant/Associate Professor in Nursing


Four positions – two at each Regional Campus (Middletown and Hamilton) for Assistant/Associate Professor to provide classroom and clinical instruction for baccalaureate students (prelicensure & completion); advise and recruit students; participate in committees; undertake curriculum development in collaboration with department faculty; conduct scholarly and faculty development activities; provide service to university, community and profession; assume other responsibilities as assigned by the chair.


Master’s degree in nursing; enrollment in a doctoral program at the time of interview;  minimum of 2 years (24 months) clinical experience in community settings or acute care settings; current or eligible for Ohio RN licensure.  Appointment as Associate Professor requires established record research/scholarship and completed doctoral degree.


Doctoral degree in nursing or related field; teaching experience with baccalaureate and/or master’s nursing students; experience teaching in an online environment; advanced knowledge of informatics or advanced practice nursing (Adult/Geriatrics).
