Nursing Faculty and Clinical Track Positions

The University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, College of Nursing and Health Sciences is seeking applicants for full-time tenure track and full-time/part-time clinical track faculty positions beginning in either January or August, 2013.  Positions are available in Eau Claire and Marshfield, where excellent opportunities for research, leadership, clinical practice and professional development are available.  The Department of Nursing offers CCNE-accredited BSN, MSN, and DNP programs, and a statewide collaborative BSN completion program. Expertise is preferred in the following areas: Advanced Clinical Practice with Adult, Gerontological, and/or Family Nurse Practitioner Certification, Mental/Behavioral Health, and Medical/Surgical Nursing.

Master’s degree in nursing and doctorate or substantial progress toward a doctorate is required for tenure-track faculty positions.  For clinical track positions, a Master’s degree in nursing is required for a clinical assistant professor; a doctorate is required for clinical associate professor.  Applicants must have RN licensure in the US and be eligible for RN licensure in Wisconsin, with WI RN license required by the start of the contract period.  For a complete list of requirements and full position description, please refer to the following website: http://www.uwec.edu/acadaff/jobs/faculty/.
