Online Learning Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Instructor at a Distance
The Graduate and Professional Studies Division of Saint Joseph’s College Online seeks a full time faculty member for their online Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Program.
The FNP full time faculty member will prepare students for the FNP role along with clinical reasoning and practice competency acquisition. This position will include teaching online clinical seminars and monitoring the student’s progress with their onsite clinical preceptors as well as teaching didactic and theory courses in the FNP curriculum.
The online full time faculty member will assume responsibility for clinical site visits as assigned by the Clinical Coordinator as well as other curriculum wide responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director. All full time faculty members are expected to maintain ongoing national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
The successful candidate will have a Masters degree in Nursing (MSN/FNP) from an accredited institution, current national certification and current unencumbered licensure as Family Nurse Practitioner, five years of relevant nurse practitioner experience (FNP), demonstrated competency in teaching and curriculum development, effective organizational, leadership, written and oral communication skills. A Doctoral degree, preferably Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is preferred.
