Northwestern College (Iowa) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the Nursing department beginning fall 2013. The College’s BSN program is approved by the Iowa Board of Nursing and is accredited by CCNE. An online RN-BSN program will also begin fall 2013.
Teaching medical-surgical nursing courses and associated clinicals; may include responsibility for developing and teaching a variety of courses for RN-BSN students in an online environment. Other responsibilities include advising and recruiting students, departmental/committee service, and scholarship.
Master’s degree in nursing with a willingness to complete a doctorate is required. Candidates who have a doctorate (completed or in progress) in nursing or a related field, teaching experience (including online), and clinical experience as an RN/ARNP will have preference.
