Associate Managing Director - San Francisco Peninsula Learning Center
The Associate Managing Director is a regular ranked faculty member of the School of Nursing who is responsible for implementing the ABSN program, collaborating with the Bay Area Clinical Coordinator and Bay Area Preceptor Coordinator in securing clinical sites, identifying prospective faculty, and teaching students in classrooms and/or clinical settings.

Qualifications:

  • Masters in Nursing or comparable, earned doctorate preferred.
  • Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in California.
  • Experience with community relations.
  • Teaching experience in Baccalaureate or higher degree nursing program.

Assistant Professor, Critical Care Specialty – Oakland Campus
Teaching undergraduate nursing in the following area:  Critical Care. 

Qualifications:

  • Masters in nursing or related field required, earned doctorate preferred.
  • Specialization in critical care.
  • Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in California.
  • At least three years of progressive teaching experience in Baccalaureate or higher degree nursing program.
  • Recent (within five years) critical care practice experience or proof of BRN approval to teach clinical in this specialty.

Clinical Nurse Instructor, Pediatric Specialty – Oakland Campus
Teaching undergraduate nursing in the following area:  Pediatrics.  This full-time instructor will teach only in the clinical setting. 

Qualifications:

  • Masters in Nursing or related field required.
  • Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in California.
  • Demonstrated current competence in pediatrics.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills.
  • Past experience in clinical teaching preferred.
