Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing

Emmanuel College is a Catholic liberal arts and sciences college located in the heart of the crossroads of the city’s medical, academic, scientific and cultural communities Boston in the Longwood Medical Area. The Department of Nursing is housed in Graduate Studies, and is dedicated to educating adult students who seek to continue, complete or further their formal education in Nursing. The Department of Nursing currently offers an RN to BSN completion program in two locations (Boston and Woburn) and an MSN program with concentrations in nursing management and nursing education. The BSN program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and the MSN program is seeking accreditation from CCNE in 2013.
The College seeks a full time nursing faculty member for a multiple year position to teach in the RN to BSN and MSN programs commencing during the Academic Year of 2013-2014. PhD preparation is preferred. Applicants must have/be eligible for Massachusetts RN licensure, hold an MS degrees in Nursing and have experience in nursing management and either public health, ambulatory care, or primary care.
