The University of Central Florida College of Nursing has immediate openings for energetic “up and coming” researchers to join its collegial and supportive team. Seeking full-time faculty with graduate level teaching experience and a beginning program of research or clinical scholarship. Tenure, tenure-earning and clinical-track positions available for nurse practitioners and health policy experts, as well as an endowed chair position for a high-caliber researcher in simulation, and an associate dean for undergraduate affairs position and other undergraduate teaching opportunities.
The college has a rich simulation environment with well-established partnerships with Florida Hospital, Orlando Health, and the UCF Institute for Simulation and Training — an internationally recognized research institute known for its human-in-the-loop simulation modeling of human activity. The college is also currently developing unique technology for health care simulation training and research, including the use of avatars to teach and improve outcomes.
