The University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Nursing is seeking applications for Tenure and Teaching Track Faculty Positions

The UMSL College of Nursing is seeking applicants for Tenure and Teaching Track faculty to teach in his or her area of expertise in the undergraduate or graduate programs and contribute to the mission and programs of the college. Tenure track faculty members are expected to have a defined program of research, engage in research relevant to nursing which results in publications in refereed professional publications, and build a sustained program of extramurally funded nursing research related to his or her area of expertise.  Teaching track faculty are expected to engage in scholarship appropriate to their area of expertise.

Salary and rank are competitive and dependent upon qualifications. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A master’s degree in nursing;
  • Licensure as a registered nurse in Missouri prior to employment;
  • Doctoral degree in nursing or related field is required;
  • Demonstrate the potential for translating research into education and practice;
  • Relevant teaching experience as appropriate for rank
