The School of Nursing invites applications for the position of Faculty for the Advanced Practice Nurse option of FNP in the NLNAC accredited Masters of Science in Nursing program. Participation in teaching, student advising, professional service and scholarly activity is expected. The position is full-time (9 mo.) tenure eligible at the rank of assistant or associate professor. Teaching workload is 9-10 cr hr per semester which includes 20% release for clinical practice.  Salary and rank commensurate with education and experience with a starting date of August 12, 2013.

Minimum education and experience requirements include: 1) MSN and an earned doctorate or Doctorate in Nursing; 2) eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice RN in Arkansas; 3) current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner by a national certifying body; 4) at least two (2) years experience in Advanced Practice Nurse role; and 5) academic experience.
