The Chair, with the faculty of the School of Nursing (ASN, BSN, MSN, and DNP), is responsible for implementation and evaluation of academic programs and policies that meet the needs of a diverse and growing student population, the communities of interest, and the requirements of accrediting bodies. The Chair collaborates with the other departments/programs within the College of Nursing and Health Professions and the University to advance inter-professional opportunities and establish professional partnerships.
This position is a full time (12 month) tenure-track at Assistant or Associate Professor and Chair beginning July 1, 2013. Master's degree in Nursing and a PhD in Nursing or related field and have an outstanding record of leadership and excellence in administration, a record of scholarship and grant writing, a distinguished record of exemplary teaching, experience with curricular design and accreditation, and a history of professional service.
