King University, a private, comprehensive Master’s Degree granting university, founded in the Presbyterian tradition, is inviting applications for full-time faculty positions at our Knoxville location. The School of Nursing at King University offers a traditional undergraduate BSN program and MSN programs in Bristol, Kingsport, and Knoxville, Tennessee, and online and cohort-based RN-BSN programs throughout Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. King University’s nursing program is fully approved by the TN Board of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
Qualifications for Traditional BSN Program: An MSN degree, RN licensure in TN/multistate, and teaching experience is required. Preference will be given to those who have taught at the Baccalaureate level.
Qualifications for MSN Program: A PhD or DNP in Nursing or a related field, and RN licensure in TN/multistate is required. Must be licensed to practice as APRN in the State of Tennessee; FNP preferred. Candidates with strong teaching experience and interest are encouraged to apply.
