The University of Louisville School of Nursing (ULSON) is part of a state supported premier metropolitan university. The School of Nursing is located on the Health Sciences Center with the Schools of Dentistry, Medicine and Public Health. Situated in the heart of downtown Metro Louisville, KY (population 800,000+), the ULSON is within walking distance of hospitals and outpatient care centers which serve as clinical, practice and research environments.
ULSON is seeking two highly qualified candidates for tenured/tenure-track positions, 10 or 12 months. One will be a senior faculty with expertise with adults/ elderly. The other will be a junior faculty to complement the SON faculty research and education areas, such as management of asthma, diabetes, hypertension, smoking cessation, palliative care, depression and health disparities.
The candidates will conduct externally-funded research and have a teaching and service commitments. Qualified applicants must hold an earned doctorate in nursing or a doctorate in a related field with a master's degree in nursing
