Coordinator of the family nurse practitioner blended program
The Division of Nursing at the University of Mary, America’s Leadership University, located in Bismarck, ND invites interested candidates to apply for the Coordinator of the Family Nurse Practitioner blended program for the Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree. This full-time position is scheduled to begin summer 2013. Applicants should have demonstrated academic leadership capabilities and a desire to grow the program in innovative and creative ways.
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in nursing practice and the ability to obtain or possess current unencumbered advanced practice license in the state of North Dakota. Responsibilities for the position include teaching as well as developing and maintaining curriculum; overseeing the development of new courses and continuous improvement of existing curriculum in collaboration with program faculty; overseeing accreditation and state board of nursing requirements; monitoring enrollment; recruiting, orienting, and evaluating qualified faculty; integrating and navigating technology within the program; and, planning and organizing the onsite academic schedule. All faculty are expected to advise students within the major and be an active member of the University community. Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine mission of the University of Mary. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
