Associate dean for research
The Medical University of South Carolina College of Nursing seeks Associate Dean for Research.
The associate dean for research (ADR) will be responsible for developing a visionary strategic plan for research, mentoring and facilitating faculty research, managing a full service-oriented research center, and providing research expertise. The ADR is part of the senior administrative team and directly reports to the dean of the MUSC College of Nursing. The position rank is at the level of associate or full professor.

- resides within a leading academic health sciences center
- plays a pivotal role in MUSC’s South Carolina Clinical and Translational Research Institute (SCTR)
- houses the Center for Community Health Partnerships (CCHP) and the Technology Applications Center for Healthful Lifestyles (TACHL)
Qualifications include an earned doctorate in nursing or related health field, significant record of extramural research funding and peer-reviewed publications, demonstrated expertise in mentorship of faculty, and experience in academic administrative leadership.
