Assistant director of simulation learning
NYU is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Simulation Learning to oversee the simulation activities of students in the Clinical Simulation Learning Center (CSLC) with a particular focus on master's students in clinical programs use of high- fidelity human patient simulators and Standardized Patient’s at the NYU’s CSLC as well as NYSIM Center at Bellevue Medical Center. The Assistant Director will assist with the day to day operation of the CSLC, including working with undergraduate students as needed as well as the faculty teaching students in at the CSLC and NYSIM Center.
To qualify, you must have a Master's Degree in Nursing with a current RN License and New York State Nurse Practitioner registration, national NP certification, a minimum of three years of clinical experience as an NP and some teaching experience. This can include precepting graduate students and/or teaching undergraduate students in the clinical setting or in simulation. Must have knowledge of audio/video equipment and simulation software along with a willingness to learn new technologies, the ability to work in a dynamic high paced environment, and flexibility to work varying days/evening/weekends.
