Assistant/associate professor in DNP PROGRAM

Otterbein University, a comprehensive liberal arts institution in the suburban Columbus area, invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor in the DNP Program.  The ideal candidate should possess expertise in the areas of nursing appropriate to the assigned courses.   This is a half-time, 12 month, non-tenure track position with commensurate expectations for teaching and scholarship. 


Master of Science in Nursing is required; Ph.D. or DNP is preferred; unencumbered registered nurse license to practice nursing in the State of Ohio or eligible for licensure, demonstrated ability in teaching in baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs; distinguished research and scholarly achievements. Experience in online and/or blended education preferred.  While candidates are welcome with a variety of nursing backgrounds, medical-surgical experience is a plus.  The successful candidate will value the liberal arts framework in teaching diverse, talented students as well as a global perspective of health care and community.
