University of Portland School of Nursing, welcomes applications for full-time tenure track nursing faculty and doctorally prepared FNP faculty. 

The School of Nursing seeks a creative and energetic FNP with doctoral preparation in nursing for a tenure track faculty position in our DNP program. The DNP program offers competency-based evaluation, emphasis on caring for disadvantaged populations to eliminate health disparities, and an integrative health care component.  Online learning is combined with monthly face-to-face weekend classes on campus. This innovative program prepares family nurse practitioners in the Post Baccalaureate track and primary care nurse practitioners (ANP, FNP, PNP, GNP) in the Post Master’s DNP track.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral preparation
  • FNP practice experience in primary care
  • FNP national certification
  • Oregon NP licensure
  • Teaching experience preferred, but not required
