Professor- Adult- medical surgical nursing

POSITION

Tenure track position with focus on Adult Medical-Surgical Nursing for teaching and advising in the undergraduate (BSN) program with rank to be determined. Opportunities to teach in the nursing graduate programs may also be available.

QUALIFICATIONS

Earned doctorate in Nursing or closely related discipline. May consider candidates with Masters in Nursing currently enrolled in an accredited doctoral program. Must be licensed or have eligibility to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington. Men and people of color are especially encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Regular nine-month academic appointment with teaching responsibility of approximately 33 academic quarter credits in addition to research, scholarly projects, and clinical supervision responsibilities. The candidate will be expected to share in student advising and actively participate in school and university affairs.

compensation

Compensation is commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include health, dental, disability and life insurance, tuition discount, as well as retirement programs. A moving allowance may be provided.
