Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care and service, is seeking applicants for tenure-track and non-tenure track positions in the School of Nursing. Saint Louis University is one of the premier Catholic universities in the United States.

The School of Nursing, an integral component of one of the largest Catholic health sciences centers in the world, has been in the forefront of nursing education since its founding in 1928. The School offers CCNE accredited baccalaureate and master’s programs as well as doctoral (DNP and Ph.D.) study in nursing in an urban environment that fosters understanding of racial, ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic diversity. The School offers an infrastructure to support faculty research and practice efforts and provides an avenue to develop innovative curricula with an interprofessional approach to more effectively address current and future health care issues.

Nominations and applications are invited for the following positions in the School of Nursing:

Tenure-Track Faculty Positions (Acute Care and Pediatric) These nine-month positions require a doctorate in nursing or a related field with a master’s in nursing, certification as an advanced practice nurse, specialties in acute care or pediatric nursing are preferred, an active research agenda, strong teaching skills with the ability to teach at graduate or doctoral levels, publications commensurate with a doctoral program and licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Missouri.  

Non-Tenure Track Research Faculty Positions These nine-month renewable positions require a doctorate in nursing or a related field with a master’s in nursing, an active research agenda with an expectation of obtaining external funding and licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Missouri.
