Director of np programs

The College of Nursing at the SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse NY invites applications for a faculty position as Director of NP programs. Responsibilities include teaching, practice and oversight of the NP programs.

Requirements

  • Eligible for New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Masters in nursing required; PhD/DNS in nursing preferred; DNP considered.
  • Teaching experience preferred

The College of Nursing has upper division Bachelor's, Master's (FNP, FPMHNP, Adult-Geri CNS, Pediatric) and DNP.  New initiatives in interprofessional education and teaching with technology are being implemented, and the College is in the city of Syracuse in central New York State.  Syracuse is a diverse metropolitan area with a population of approximately 750,000, and is in close proximity to nature, cultural events, museums and shopping.  Find out why central New York is an attractive place to live:
