Chair, Undergraduate Nursing and Graduate Nursing of Populations programs. Boise State University, a metropolitan research university located in the capitol city of Idaho, invites applications for a Chair position with the School of Nursing (SON).
We are seeking a talented leader for our vibrant and growing nursing programs. This position works closely with the Director of the SON, and the Chair of 3 self-funded programs to oversee the SON as well as serving on the Health Sciences’ Administrative Leadership Council. With 46 faculty members, 13 staff and an accredited simulation center the Boise State School of Nursing needs a motivated chair.
This is a twelve-month position with faculty appointment of associate or full professor rank and a start up package.

- Clinical coordinator
- School data analyst
- Endowed chair for research and scholarly development
- Academic advising department
- Financial support from the community for research, professional development, advanced degree achievement, and travel of $400-500,00 annually
- PhD, EdD or DNP and a MS/MSN in Nursing
- Current RN licensure in Idaho or eligible for licensure
- Leadership experiences which have prepared the applicant for an administrative position
