The Director will be responsible for the daily operation, organization, administration, general effectiveness, and supervision of the Nursing Programs, as well as future program planning, development, and accreditation. Position will start March 24, 2014.
Minimum education and experience include Doctorate in Nursing; current registration as a professional nurse; and three (3) years teaching experience at the Associate and/or Bachelor's Degree, Nursing level.
Minimum abilities and skills include developed supervisory skills; interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with faculty, staff, students, administration, affiliate site personnel, and the public; sensitivity to the expectations of students, faculty, staff, and administration; excellent oral and written communications skills; evidence of curriculum development capability; documented ability to develop and implement teaching strategies that meet the educational needs of traditional and non-traditional students; evidence of self-motivation, enthusiasm, creativity, and leadership potential; demonstrated sensitivity to diversity and multicultural issues; demonstrated ability to work within a nursing team structure; and must possess a valid driver's license.
