The Opportunity to provide overall leadership and direction and serve as the principal administrator of the College of Nursing. Engage in visionary and long range planning for the College. Provide leadership and oversight to all academic programs; encourage and support continuous improvement of programs and curriculum; evaluate and approve all curricular changes, advising functions, and student recruitment and retention actions and initiatives; develop and review curricular and programmatic initiatives; may teach courses.
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in nursing or relevant field; eight to nine years’ experience as a faculty member and administrator at the department chair or college director level at a doctoral-granting university; academic record sufficient to qualify for faculty appointment at senior rank; professional licensure as a nurse.
