Madge M. Jones Professorship in Nursing
This endowed professorship will support an eminent nurse scientist with a well-established record of external support for research. Applicants should be excellent teachers with a passion for creating an environment to support junior faculty and students. The applicant's focus areas might include acute or chronic care, public and rural health, pediatrics, adult, geriatrics, or health care systems. Joint appointments with other schools may be possible. A PhD degree in nursing or a related field and eligibility for licensure in Virginia are required (#0612809).

Tenure/Tenure Track Faculty Position – Established Researcher
This position will support scholars with an established program of research, a commitment to external funding, and either exceptional teaching experience or an APRN certification and current practice.  Focus areas include acute and critical care, geriatrics, pediatrics, oncology, palliative care, diabetes care, public and rural health, health disparities, nursing health services research, and complementary and alternative therapies and history. A PhD degree in nursing or a related field and eligibility for licensure in Virginia are required (#0612717).

Tenure/Tenure Track Faculty Position – Developing Researcher
This position will support developing researchers with a commitment to externally funded research and be an experienced teacher or have APRN certification and current practice. Focus areas include geriatrics, women's health, pediatrics, oncology, palliative care, diabetes care, public and rural health, health disparities, nursing health services research, complementary and alternative therapies, and nursing history. Applicants should have a PhD degree in nursing or a related field and eligibility for licensure in Virginia are required (#0612716).

General Track Faculty Position
This position will support experienced teachers with strong clinical experience in a variety of specialty areas including geriatrics, women's health, pediatrics, oncology, palliative care, diabetes care, public and rural health, health disparities, nursing health services research, complementary and alternative therapies and nursing history.  Nursing faculty will lecture in the classroom and supervise students in a variety of clinical settings. A PhD in nursing or related field or a DNP and eligibility for licensure in Virginia are required. Preference will be given to those with an acute care nurse practitioner or family nurse practitioner certification (#0612718).
