Executive Associate Dean

The University of Tennessee Knoxville, College of Nursing provides unique opportunities for tenure track faculty. The College of Nursing has an opening for Executive Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. The Executive Associate Dean for Academic Affairs is the chief operating officer for academic matters and will provide leadership to ensure students have a positive learning experience that will result in competent professionals who can meet the health care needs of the state/nation. The Executive Associate Dean is accountable to the Dean and a member of the Administrative Team.

required qualifications

Earned doctorate and Master’s in nursing, if doctorate is not in nursing; academic administrative experience; teaching experience at graduate and undergraduate levels; demonstrated ability to function effectively in large, complex organization; record of scholarly achievement; and eligible for license as a registered nurse in Tennessee.
