Mount Carmel College of Nursing seeks an innovative, visionary, and collaborative academic leader to assume the position of President-Dean.

Job responsibilities

The President-Dean serves as the chief executive and academic officer of the college and reports to the Mount Carmel College of Nursing Board of Trustees and the Mount Carmel Health System President and Chief Executive Officer. As the primary executive, the President-Dean leads the college's academic programs, and serves as the college's primary liaison with the community. Some of the President-Dean's responsibilities include: providing leadership in the development and implementation of the college's strategic plan; assuring that the college meets all accreditation and licensure requirements; preparing/approving all contractual agreements and appointing and promoting qualified faculty and professional staff; approving and monitoring the college's budget; promoting relationships with alumna/alumni and other external constituencies; overseeing the college's gift/endowment program; overseeing the campus ministry and multicultural program; and serving as ex-officio member of the college's Board of Trustees. The President-Dean guides the work of approximately sixteen direct reports.
