The Program in Nursing Science at the University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine) seeks applicants for two full-time tenured faculty positions, one at the Associate and one at the Full Professor rank.  Applicants should have a research-focused doctorate, an active program of research, evidence of extramural funding, and a distinguished publication record.  We are particularly interested in individuals whose program of research addresses Latino and/or women’s health needs, or addresses health disparities, although all specialties are encouraged to apply. Faculty members must be willing and able to mentor students at all levels (BSN, MSN, PhD) in developing evidence-based practice and research skills.

Nursing Science is a dynamic and growing program at the University of California, Irvine.  Faculty members have the exciting opportunity to contribute to Nursing Science’s mission and will teach across all levels of nursing education including undergraduate, masters, and doctoral programs.  There are many opportunities for collaboration in both the campus community and the diverse Orange County community.
