The Program in Nursing Science at the University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine) seeks applicants for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank.  Applicants with a beginning research agenda focused on Latino and/or women’s health, health disparities, or health technology are strongly encouraged to apply, although all specialties will be considered. An earned doctorate is required and candidates should hold a current license or be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in the State of California. Successful candidates should have relevant publications in peer-reviewed journals, have teaching experience, and clinical expertise.

Nursing Science is a dynamic and growing program at the University of California, Irvine.  Faculty members have the opportunity to contribute to Nursing Science’s mission and will teach across all levels of nursing education including undergraduate, masters, and doctoral programs.  There are many opportunities for collaboration in both the campus community and the diverse Orange County community.
