Pacific Lutheran University is seeking a visionary, entrepreneurial dean of the School of Nursing to advance the mission of the School and work in close collaboration with the University leadership team.
The new dean will work actively with the healthcare community in the Puget Sound region, especially in Tacoma, Seattle, and Olympia, with the goal of raising funds for the institution and developing new programs and connections that promote the School of Nursing. The dean of the School of Nursing will serve on the Academic Deans Council that is chaired by the provost, and will work collaboratively and productively with the other deans in the University in developing interdisciplinary programs and collaborative activities in support of all PLU students.
The successful candidate will demonstrate both academic and healthcare experience as well as the leadership acumen and administrative experience necessary to build upon the many successes of the School of Nursing.
